author biographical note degree piece

I launched my project Sparks motivated by the desire to create a complex portrait of a contemporary war on the basis of the conflict in Ukraine, which seems to be forgotten, despite the fact that it takes place in Europe. The way the war operates, how it affects the lives of ordinary people and their environment has been illustrated in various means of artistic expression. The core and foundation of the project are portraits of direct witnesses of war – young soldiers – taken during one-on-one conversations with each of them.
