An installation we can use to hide within – as if in shrubbery. It can also bring to mind grandma’s wardrobe where we used to hide in childhood, where the longed-for treasures awaited. The Hideout stemmed from the need for silence in a big city. In the video I assemble it in different places in Warsaw, to cut off from the hustle and bustle of the capital, to find my own mobile space where I become peaceful. In the background there are nine prints which also address the issue of isolation. The series Islands / Plants depict solitary organisms cut off from everything, drifting on a large plane of colour. Elements complement each other and form the complete degree piece.
